Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad will be closed for Hari Raya Aidil Fitri and
National Day holidays as follows:
A. If
Hari Raya Aidil Fitri falls on Tuesday, 30 August 2011,
trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities would be closed from Tuesday, 30 August
2011 to Thursday, 1 September 2011. Trading will resume on Friday, 2 September
2011.
or
B. If
Hari Raya Aidil Fitri falls on Wednesday, 31 August 2011,
there would be no trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities from Tuesday, 30 August
2011 to Friday, 2 September 2011. Trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities will
resume on Monday, 5 September 2011.
In addition to the above,
trading on Bursa Malaysia Securities on Monday, 29 August 2011 will be
opened for the morning trading session only. There will be no trading in
the afternoon session.
Singapore Exchange (SGX)
will be closed on Tuesday, 30 August 2011 whilst the trading
hours for HKEx, NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX will remain as normal.
Despite of the above, we are
pleased to inform you that our Malaysia Night Desk Dealer Support will still be
available at your service at (603) 2096 1655 during the holidays. However, as
CIMB Investment Bank offices will be closed for the holidays, we would like to
remind you to make the necessary prior arrangement with your dealer’s
representative / authorised officer of CIMB Bank Berhad to ensure there is
sufficient trading limit to facilitate your trading in the foreign stock
exchanges during the holidays.
