Can I start trading immediately after submitting my CGS-CIMB iTrade online trading application and the required documents?
You can only begin trading after your account has been approved by CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd and after depositing the required collateral deposit into your Trust Account.

How do I deposit into my Trust Account?
You can either deposit by:
- Inter branch online transfer - For below bank account holders, instruct your home branches to make a fund transfer on the outstanding amount to CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd, payable to either one of the bank account number as follows:

- Perform E-Deposit via CGS-CIMB iTrade
- Logon your username and password at www.cgs-cimb.com.my
- Click on <Settlement>
- Select <eDeposit>
- Choose your trading account and click on <Online Cash Deposit> button.
- Select your preferred bank.
- Key in your deposit amount and click <Confirm> button.
- After key-in the trading pin, you will be forwarded to Internet Banking Website (Maybank2u/CIMB Clicks/FPX).
- Complete the transaction from the Internet banking website.
**Please ensure that pop-up blocker is turned off to be prompted to the online banking site.

How do I withdraw my cash / securities?
Instruction to withdraw cash

Please contact to your Dealer's Representative.

Email the instruction to us at customerservice.my@cgs-cimb.com. Indicate your name, trading account number, amount to withdraw and Bank account name and number.
Instruction to transfer shares

For Securitised Trading Account, please contact to your Dealer's Representative.

For Normal Trading Account, you may give instruction to transfer by completing and submitting the duly signed Transfer of Securities Request Form (FTF 010) to your appointed remisier/dealer or our Service Counter located at CGS-CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd Menara Bumiputra-Commerce (MBC) Level 12, Menara Bumiputra-Commerce, No. 11, Jalan Raja Laut, 50350 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan

What happens if I forget my password?

You may click on to retrieve a hint to your password.

On this screen, you are required to key in your user ID, a hint will be prompted

Answer the hint & the system will automatically regenerate a 6-digit code which will be sent to your assigned e-mail address.

Upon receiving with the newly generated 6-digit code, you will then need to log on and change this 6-digit code to a new password.

What should I do if I have forgotten my Trading Pin number?

Step 1: Click “My Profile” – “Forgot Pin”.

Step 2: Answer to your hint > Tick the I’m not a robot > Temporary trading pin (control code) will be sent to your registered email.

Step 3: Once received the email, click “My Profile” – “Change Pin”.

Step 4: Key-in the temporary trading pin (control code) that you received from the email as your “old pin”.

Step 5: Create new 6-digit trading pin > Tick the I’m not robot > submit.

What should I do if my login id has been suspended or I have forgotten my password?
No worry, you can unlock your account easily, anytime, anywhere, and even on public holidays. Please refer steps below or click HERE for user guide.

I still remember my previous password, can I keep the same password after I unlock or reset my password?
No. For security reason, you are required to change a new password and the password should contain the following:

Between 8 to 20 characters

Both upper-case and lower-case letters are required
-
Needs to contain one or more numerical digits
-
Avoid using common password (E.g. Abcd1234)

Avoid using special character (E.g. @, #, $, %)
